Welcome to my kitchen! I’m Sapna, a foodie, blogger, wife, mom of two beautiful girls, and lover of spices. I have a background in Nutrition and Dietetics, which I use to incorporate healthy options into all of my recipes. I love traveling to new places, trying new food, and in turn, creating them in my kitchen to relive the magic. When I’m not in the kitchen, I love curling up with a good book, playing with my munchkins, running, hanging out with friends, and gardening.
My ultimate goal is to infuse and balance my three pillars in the kitchen:
One of my favorite things in the world is a rainbow and that has given me appreciation for all colors. This reflects in my life as I eat in color, I live in color, and I try to show that in my food. Some dishes reflect all colors and others highlight a specific one. In all their form, colors are beneficial for mind, body, and soul. It is with this belief that I find it important to pass on my love for colors, especially in food to my girls.
Our family loves congregating around the kitchen- be it for after school snacks, everyday meals, or even a party to prep and host. I enjoy developing dishes that are family friendly, easy to make, include a variety of rainbows, and are packed with flavor.
So grab a cup of Chai, come to my kitchen, and create some delicious dishes with me. Just don’t forget to bring a li’l bit of spice!
